You are able to communicate at a very basic level. You can already introduce yourself, tell someone about your family and friends, ask for the time and directions. You can also understand short signs in English, such as postcards and road signs.
Keep going! Learn new grammar rules and add words into your vocabulary. And don't forget to practise speaking and listening skills – these are the foundation of learning any language.

Here is some good news: if you have a smartphone, you can easily practise English :-) We have selected a few mobile apps that will help you develop various skills.
The app called “Listening” will help you improve your English comprehension skills. It has audio recordings for all levels, and at the end of the exercise you’ll find a test to self-check.
Another app named “English Vocabulary: Flashcards” will help you memorise new words. The task is simple: you need to guess English words and expressions that are illustrated on the flashcards. Good luck!
